The Dugout and WNYSS brings you......VOLLEYPONG!

VolleyPong combines all the skills of Beer Pong with the game of Volleyball and turns it into a drinking game that can be enjoyed by all.  

PARTICULARS:

• Location: The Dugout Dome
• Date: Saturday, November 11th
• Time: Registration - 11:30am / Start - 12:00pm
• The game is played on an actual volleyball court, using a standard volleyball and RED garbage cans targets.
• Teams consist of 2-4 players.
• Cost: $60 per team of two. Additional team players = $20 per player. 
• Players can be substituted during a game but only two players play at a time. 
• Garbage cans in standard beer pong pyramid format: 1 in the front row, 2 in the second row, and 3 in the back row.
• Your registration fee includes: Admission to the tourney, beer until tourney ends and food. 

RULES (First and foremost - Fill your cups!) NOTE: Water may be used in place of beer:

• Who goes first? "Eyes" - A player from each team shoots the ball while maintaining eye contact with their opponent throughout the shot. Closes to the cans, goes first (Both make = re-throw).
• The game proceeds in turn based fashion, where a turn consists of volleying, throwing, or bouncing the balls towards (and into) the opposing teams rack of garbage cans,
• For every "make", the opposing team must drink.
• Each player on a team gets 1 shot per turn.
• ROLL BACK: if both players from a team make their shots, (1) ball is returned and the team "throwing" gets (1) additional shot.
• GRABBING: The ball in play may be grabbed, however ONLY after it has already made contact with a cup, but not while the ball is in the cup. You may not grab before the ball has hit a cup. If a player touches the ball BEFORE it touches the cans, the team "throwing" can choose a can to be removed. 
• BOUNCES: if the ball bounced and goes in, it counts as 2 (2nd can = "throwing" teams choice. But....they can be swatted. You are allowed to catch regular shots that ricochet off the top of the garbage cans after they make contact.
• RE-RACK: Each team is allowed one re-rack per game. This is to speed up games so that games end faster (It's a social game!).
• TO WIN: (1) point awarded for each can cleared before time expires. There will be a 10-minute time limit per round. Any game tied at the end of the allotted time, will enter "sudden death". Sudden death will consist of teams shooting from progressively closer lines until 1 team makes and 1 does not.  

PRIZES:

Prizes will be given to the most creative/fun team uniform.
